Cheryl Wergin, Consultant
Cheryl is a facilitator of change. Since 1985 she has successfully advised physicians in the areas of practice merger, group formation, organizational re-alignment, planning retreats, and conflict resolution.
Cheryl works with physicians and staff to develop operational systems which are geared to a group's specific needs. Her counseling credentials and experience in medical group management consulting give Cheryl special leverage to create work environments where patients, physicians, and staff all thrive.
Cheryl recommends office and reimbursement systems that empower staff and managers, and support physicians. Her unique practice start-up consultation skills assist residents with making the successful transition from residency to practice. Physicians and managers find Cheryl's change management experience and advice invaluable.
Prior to joining KZA, Cheryl managed distribution for a multi-million dollar chemical company. She has also had a private counseling practice.
Cheryl has Master of Counseling Psychology degree from the Alfred Adler Institute in Chicago. Her academic credentials also include graduate work in business administration at Loyola University Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University.
