Coding Education You Can’t Afford To Miss

In Thursday’s course, Introduction to CPT, ICD-9-CM, and Evaluation and Management Coding, Betsy Nicoletti will show you how to avoid making costly coding mistakes, learn the reimbursement rules and when to appeal inappropriate denials, as well as exploring the importance of key financial reports along with steps to improve the reimbursement process.

Then, on Friday, coding genius Mary LeGrand will build off those basic principles in her more advanced course 2009 Surgical and Office-Based Coding and Reimbursement and focus on application of coding principles to surgical scenarios. This course addresses the modifiers that are important before, during, and after the surgical procedure.
