Rewrite Those Form Letters To Patients
Look at the letter below. It is typical of what we see when we are consulting with practicesit misses the opportunity to reinforce for the prospective patient that she has chosen the right surgeon. It’s not clear whether this woman has an appointment or not.
Our point is this: If you are expending effort to write, if you’ve invested in good paper, if you’ve spend time to write explanatory materials, and you’re spending $1.25 or more in postage to send out these packetsput on a cover letter that matters!
Dear Deb:
Enclosed you will find the directions to our office with your appointment information and information in regards to the surgery you are interested in.
The Breast Reduction Surgery is usually covered under health insurance as long as you meet the medical necessity for surgery.
It was a pleasure receiving your email today and look forward to meeting you in a future consultation or speaking with you at any time. Any questions please feel free to call out office at any time.
