How do you do it? Hire the best people in the world and then have them work their fingers to the bone (hand code 99???) day in and day out. Once again, Mary, the “MVP of coders” was marvelous. Five docs played “stump the coder” for 4 hours to no avail. When answering one question, she went so far as to quote the CPT book definition – verbatim. Impressive! Lots of good information to help our bottom line.
These in-house seminars help to build teamwork between our doctors, nurses, certified coders, and business office staff. Mary presents explanations and methods that are workable and avoid class warfare. A few more “attaboys” to you and your staff. Keep up the good work informing us “front line targets” of the traps, loop holes, new laws, new interpretations of old laws, and who is out to get us and how. Get the picture?
